What We Believe

"Christ has given the church a mandate to make disciples of all nations."- Dr. Jonathan E Logan

Core Values

The following are the core values of Antioch Church of God in Christ based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Commitment to Discipleship

We believe that Christ has given the church a mandate to make disciples of all nations in Matthew 28:19-20. We understand that to fulfill this divine commission we must develop a comprehensive process for reaching, teaching, and developing the lost.

Excellence in All We Do

We believe that since the church is commanded to do everything to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31) excellence should be the norm; because, what Christians do determine how the world will perceive Christ. Therefore, what Antioch COGIC does in the name of Christ must be first class.

Kingdom Versus a Church Mindset

We believe that Antioch is a part of the Kingdom of God. We also believe that our ultimate purpose as a church body is to facilitate the manifesting of the Kingdom of God on earth (Matt. 6:9-10,33). Therefore, we must structure our church agenda in light of God's Kingdom program.

Grace - Based Ministry

We believe that the Bible teaches that it is through grace that the people of God grow and mature ( 2 Cor. 9:8; 2 Pet. 3:18). Therefore, we as a Christian Church will love people where they are and will rely on the Grace of God and not legalism to disciple them.

Directed by Biblical Principles

We believe that the Bible alone is the illuminated, inspired revelation of God, and is therefore fully sufficient and the sole ground of authority for Christians (2 Tim. 3:16). Therefore, all Antioch's policies and procedures will be based on Biblical principles.

"An anointed ministry committed to reaching, preaching, and teaching humanity through the Love of Christ and God's Word."
