Goals

  • A program designed to familiarize prospective members with the Antioch Body, so they might be Spirit lead, while making an informed decision to become an Antioch member.
  • To identify opportunities prospective members may exercise in their gifting as part of the Antioch Body of Christ.
  • To promote a deeper understanding of the Antioch ministry with a discipling mandate in transitioning from Beiever to Follower.

Commonly Asked Questions:

Q: How do I access the schedule for the next orientation and how will I be notified?

A: The orientation schedule will be posted in teh weekly church bulletin.  All prosepective members must call the administrative office to register in advance.

Q: What is the age limit for attending the New Members Class?

A: The minimal age of 16 years old.  Persons unde the age of 16 will be given a one hour Antioch Ministry orientation conducted by the youth department.

Membership is Not

  • A selected group with special privieges (i.e. to be involved in a ministry)
  • A secret handshake
  • A way to meet new, exiting people
  • A way to get on God's "good" side

Time Committment

  • The orientation is a session facilitated by Pastor Logan and Lady Logan.
  • The scheduled orientation will being immediately following the Sunday 8:00 a.m. service.
  • The session will be held in the Antioch COGIC Conference room.

**Remember the New Member Class must be completed before you can become a member of Antioch COGIC**

Although the Antioch New Member Class is a prerequisite, it is not an obligation to join the Antioch Body, Above all, membership in the church can be accomplished only after the person or persons have first declared their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
